OUR HISTORY
Pastor James and Delores Fields and a small group of people in the home of the Fields founded Trinity Worship Center in 1992. From their home they moved to the CC Athletic Club in June of 1992 and then moved to two other locations: Uncle Chester's Restaurant in December of 1992 and Padre Palms Square in 1994 before buying the present facilities from the Reorganized Mormons church in 1996.

Pastor Jerry and Phyllis Weiss became pastor in 1998 and served until April of 2007.
Under the leadership of Pastor Weiss, the auditorium was expanded and a much needed new building was built to serve fellowship, children's classes, and offices. Children's ministries were a great need so in 1998 Royal Rangers, Missionettes now called Mpact Girls, were started. Ministries were also expanded to include a Children's Church with David and Ruby Lopez.

In February of 2007 Pastor Weiss accepted the pastorate in Dallas. Some of the leaders sensed that they should set up a meeting with the pastor of New Beginnings Community Center, a neighboring A/G congregation, and see if the Lord may be leading the congregations to merge. Pastor Weiss made the contact for TWC and a few evenings later, four couples met at the home of Royce and Sally Reeves to have dinner together and to discuss and pray over merging of the two congregations.

The first gathering of the two churches was Sunday, May 20, 2007. The following Sunday afternoon both churches under the direction of the Corpus Christi, A/G Sectional leaders voted unanimously to merge.

On the first Sunday in June 2007, TWC and NBCC met together for their first service as One Body under the leadership of Pastor David and Brenda Kelly.

Since our merger, we have added another class room building and additional parking. Plans are to purchase more property to the left or right of us to build a new auditorium and expand our youth and children's facilities. Our strategy is to develop two new ministries each year.

To God be given the glory for His mighty plans!
